EN NL EN NL Step into the care of tomorrow. Commissioned by Oval, we developed an interactive experience for Fundis and Zorg voor Morgen where care, wellbeing and the future come together, inviting visitors to explore, experience and reflect on their own future.
For this project, we translated complex themes around ageing and care into an accessible and thought-provoking experience. The concept is designed as a fictional neighbourhood where visitors can freely explore and discover different perspectives, from vitality and independence to innovation and informal care.
From the very beginning, visitors become part of the story. They place their age on a timeline and discover how their perspective compares to others. Key themes invite reflection, while peepholes and mailboxes offer glimpses into elderly care around the world.
Visitors are introduced to innovative care solutions and the principle of reablement, focusing on what people are still able to do. The residential tower presents new living concepts, while the informal care zone highlights both small and meaningful acts of care.
Interactive elements such as the smart mirror encourage personal reflection, while the community centre creates space for meeting and conversation. At the kiosk, visitors can dive deeper into the topic, and through the wishlist they can share their hopes for the future.
By combining scenography, storytelling and interactive installations, the experience creates an environment that stimulates, connects and opens up new perspectives. An experience that not only informs, but above all raises an essential question: what role do you play in the care of tomorrow?
